Vertex doubles in size as world demand continues

Harrogate based Vertex Systems which designs and builds world class CAD software systems for the construction sector has doubled its office space to cope with increasing staff levels and demand for its product range.

Headquartered in Tampere, Finland, where the company was formed 30 years ago, Vertex spearheads its expansion into Europe and beyond through the UK office.

Increasing growth comes on the back of an already quadrupled order book by virtue of moving to Harrogate four years ago in order to provide sales and support to UK customers.

An exhausting promotional and demonstration tour of Europe, Australia and New Zealand coupled with a presence at the Dubai Big Five construction exhibition and UK’s Interbuild has resulted in plenty of interest, says UK Director Jouni Kyllonen:-

“Timber frame & steel frame manufacturers and designers are reporting validated design time savings of between 50% and 66% or, put another way, at least doubling efficiency”.

The system allows a timber steel frame designer to create a 3D on-screen model of the proposed building and almost literally “walk around” the property to check its validity.

Accurate to a millionth of a millimetre, the Vertex system can be programmed into production machinery to remove all the guesswork and waste which can come with more traditional construction work.
