Wall Framing & Panelization

The Vertex Wall Framing and Panelization capability is the most flexible and comprehensive in the industry. Framing for both wood and light gauge steel is virtually automatic using Vertex.

User defined framing details, rules, wall heights and material lengths are established using the system's powerful relational database. The system calculates the studs, plates, sills and complete opening assemblies quickly and accurately. Once the building plan has been entered into the system then the rules based automated framing process automatically panelizes the walls based upon user defined optimum panel lengths. Once the walls have been panelized the system then automatically creates detailed elevations and plate drawings.

The system also automatically generates optimized minimum waste cutting lists based upon material types and dimensions defined by the user.

The system also allows the user to open up individual panel elevation drawings and add, edit or modify framing pieces at will. The framing modifications will be saved and the cutting list information will be automatically updated.

Output formats can be modified by the customer to conform to existing production standards.

Additionally, system interfaces to manufacturing and production equipment can be developed to provide high levels of automation for manufactured building companies.
